Summer graduated from Alpha Omega Academy. While in school, Summer played the keyboard, guitar, and helped lead worship at various churches in the Asheville area. Summer also worked part-time at a nursing and rehab center in the activities department. She is now a third year student at Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry in Redding, California studying music ministry and international missions. She has a tender heart for missions in Nicaragua and in Europe, especially Russia, where she has visited and served the past 2 years.
In Nicaragua, she leads the girls in their own Bible studies apart from the guys during our retreats. She also leads music on the retreats. She has been very instrumental in the growing of faith of the young ladies she ministers to. She is very artistic and takes many of the photos of our Nicaragua trips. Her favorite verse is: "Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity." I Timothy 4:12.
